My Experience of Papad Ke Hanumanji Trek?
We covered this trek on one of the Sundays in the winter season along with a few of my college friends. We all gathered at Papad Ke Hanumanji Temple early in the morning around 6 AM because we don't want to miss the morning sunrise.
As its a winter season we saw a couple of people sitting around a bonfire to keep themselves warm, we too went there and warm ourselves up and had a small conversation with them about the trek route.
We started our trek around 6:15 Am by following a trail passing through the left side of the temple. This trail took us into the forest which is not very dense but we could spot a few peacocks roaming around. As we move forward we got scared as a pack of dogs ran towards us but we didn't move from our place and they all turned out to be friendly dogs.

As we move forward in the forest the trails are hard to find because there is no clear marking which is the correct route that will take us to the Hathni Kund. So we took the help of some local passersby and they guided us to follow the correct path.

As we continued on our path we came across one watch tower and from that point it is showing only 1.5km to our destination but we got confused as we are not sure which path we need to take.
After spending some time figuring it out on the map we found there is one path passing beside the watch tower. So we all agreed and followed on the same path after walking for some time we started hearing the sound of people who are coming from that path.

We confirmed our trek path with them and they guided us to our further trail. The trail becomes more beautiful as it is passing through the water channel which got dried as there is no water in it and it is surrounded by big trees and bushes making this trek more adventurous.

After walking for half n hour we reached our destination and we saw a giant waterfall in front of us, Although there is no water falling from it due to the winter season still it looks gorgeous.
Climbing big rock which we encountered on our trail |
There is some water got lodged in from of it and its stinking. so we found one of the spots where we all can sit and enjoy our moment by drinking hot tea and some snacks.

After spending some time there and clicking beautiful pictures we head back by following the same trail from where we came.
Overall this is an amazing trek and we all enjoyed it.
Key Points to keep in mind?
1. The total trek distance is 10 kilometers and it will take around 4-5 hours(round way) to complete the trekking.
2. Carry a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated and some snacks or protein bars for munching.
3. Try to wear a good pair of trekking shoes with a good grip as the trail is steep and has stones.
4. Carry a wooden stick with you while trekking into the forest to clear the trek trails and any obstacles.
5. Maintain cleanliness in nature. Do not throw any garbage in open. If you plan to carry snacks with you carry the leftover wrappers with you and keep the surroundings clean for our next fellow trekkers.
